I’m not sure I believe it but when we’re young it seems we think we’re/fall in love easily. I follow this young couple on TikTok who are still together 3 years after he apparently love bombed her and he first met her when she was on a date with someone else. There are lots of successful relationship stories like this.

Innocent love bombing can be a sign of deep affection, especially if the person is unaware of how their behavior might be perceived. I believe the concept of Love bombing is deliberate to get someone to like the person or the group so that they can manipulate you later.
That would mean love bombing could not be done innocently.
If you mean how can you know the way somebody is treating you is love bombing or genuine? the only advice I could give you is to ask yourself is this behavior over the top? does anyone else really act this way when they're first engaging with someone? Are you uncomfortable with the level of attention they are giving you?

I don't believe I have ever had that happen. Even in the one religious cult I'm very familiar with.
