What did you buy as an adult because you didn't have as a child?

Shoes. I buy a lot of shoes. Always had my sisters hand me downs growing up. Which now i understand why, but. I still like buying shoes

This is silly but buns. Hamburger and hot dog buns were never in my house growing up because they were seen as luxuries. But as an adult, my house is never without them.

@PerfectionOfTheHeart we used sliced bread for hot dogs and hamburgers. So, felt lol

Yep .. Plain old Sunbeam or store brand white bread. Even got passed off as garlic bread at times - "doctored up" a bit, of course ;-)

But .. We never missed a meal and Dad worked 2-3 nights a week at a second job to ensure that.
