So I thought it's called "building children up"..

When parents say, "Hey my child got an award because she's the best. She's the best child in the world, she makes no mistakes and she's an angel with or without our presence. No one is better than her."

What is this called if the statements are not even true?

I would never have told anyone that no one is better than my children, but I’ve always built my children up and and tell people the good things about my kids and all the great things that they have accomplished. Because why am I going to focus on the negative? I don’t like to talk bad about people and especially not my kids.

It’s good for our kids confidence to hear their parents talk like that about them
