Is this what menopause feels like?

I’m on a new medication side effects can mimic menopause I was warned… anyway I haven’t been taking it long at all and I got this sudden intense feeling like my body was on fire from the inside 😬 I had to rip off my clothes and get in a cold shower to cool down… I HATE cold showers

Did you get a depot shot? That lasts 3 months of so. I had it twice fjr my prostate cancer. The worst was waking up in a pool of sweat and having to change the sheets, and playing in a concert and sweating so badly i had to wipe down. There are medications that can help, venlafaxine, aka Effexor, is one.

@MommaBear yes, probably lupron. That is same medication as i received. In my case it wiped out my testosterone production. In your case it dies cut down or eliminated estrogen production. If you want, we can discuss off line

@samueltyler2 it’s not that either it’s a pill only take 5 pills a cycle but only on certain days
