you ask good questions on here;

i think it may impact long term cultrual impact it may have in the USA regarding the law of diminishing returns and the bending of the world supply chains to adjust may never completely unbend.

We have such a consumer driven culture that is about to chin -checked and in terms of non-essentials I wonder if the status quo of what and how we consume willl be altered as a long-term cultural impact long after the tarrif war wanes.

i haven't read as much as I could (too busy at work) but some economists have suggested supply chains may be permanely altered from the tarrifs

in a social and physical construct i wonder how malleable either of those two, law of diminishing returns and supply chain are and in 20 years how the Tump's USA's re-adjudication of trade balances will impact future trading for the USA even in a post-tarrif USA

It's really difficult at this stage what'll happen I expect there'll be a few surprises new markets will open up some will benefit others will lose out.

There might be an immediate surge of panic buying to beat the price increase but it will level out most likely.

The tariffs will hurt, but unfortunately its only an apocalypse for the most economically vulnerable.
Don't worry, they'll be stocked with all the wonderful, American made, produce... then America can see for itself just how little it can truly manufacture without the global market.

Tariffs are going to sink everything and then there's going to be a tariff on people talking about tariffs
