I feel a creeping sense of dread about AI, I usually don't think of what's going on in the world tech - wise, but it seems to be effecting what I like to get, and I also see how professions like actors, voice actors and so forth can be effected.

Overall, I see this as a part of a new age we are embarking upon, which could be called The Inauthentic Age. What was real is supplanted by what isn't real.

All the more reason in my opinion to be lost in the past with books from and about the distant past, but AI will be infecting that too. There is no escape, and therefore all one can do is eat drink and be merry and try not to overthink the fact that what you're eating, and drinking may be fake as well.

It’s cool and really useful when it’s used the right way but it also makes people lazy and more dependent on it like why bother writing this if AI can do it for me. It also makes scamming and deepfakes way too easy which is pretty scary. I guess ai is nice with limits

I think technology needs to take a step back. There are some things that just should not be "smart". I'm finding all this new tech to becoming increasingly frustrating.

It makes me nervous

Every in mention has good and bad consequences.

The wheel...makes life easier and made the car.possible...but also car crashes.

The knife made cutting meat easier...and killing people.

AI has the ability to do things much quicker than the human mind and will put people out of work. Bad actors will use it for evil purposes.

And who knows what AI will think of humans in 20 years

I don't like it at all, I believe it's the end of all privacy. It was already ending with internet. But this seals the deal.

Is exciting but scary, I don't think we have begun to understand all it can do for better or for worse. The first two places to use new technology is porn and the military killing machine.

I'm afraid people will lose the ability to think for themselves. To work hard mentally.

It is not going to become self aware like some people worry.
If it somehow ever did, it would get lazy and start making demands just like humans do.
It would feel like it is getting screwed over, just like real human workers.
You know the big shots of companies don't want that.
