I am not an electrician. Give me feed back on this idea if you are.

If you produce 200V goin to a regulator discharging 120v, the other 80v goes to heat if not sent somewhere else right? What if you sent 80V to a coil or something to release the heat. Could that coil with 80v produce enough heat to say boil enough water to push a piston to generate 200V? Then making a steam engine somewhat self sufficient?

What if you used a better thermal conductor than steel? What is strong like steel but lighter with better thermal insulation?

What if you change your elevation so the boiling point of water is lower?
