Worst - losing my old bf. I still forget I'll never see him again at times.
Best - my baby niece arriving.

Worst - Terminal car trouble (Engine oil leak, broken A/C, interior fan failure during peak summer). Got rid of the thing to a dealer. Dealer sold me a "new problem": a car with transmission issues. The transmission repairs were about 1/6 th of the car's price. Got it fixed though

Worst - Severe flooding in the area, causing my brain to panic and voulentarly evaculate to a friend about 200miles away. The city's flood defences held, and returned to a dry apartament.

Best - I didn't have a "best" moment.

Worst Financial year ever on the farm.

Doctors say all my test come back that my heart rate, blood and everything that makes a body works is that of 30 year runner and I'm pushing 60. No diabetes, no high or low blood pressure, no high cholesterol, no nothing and I am not on any meds, but my seizure meds

Worst - losing one's bedtime partner to another room.

Best - having a whole bed to myself on a call-me when-you-need-me basis and finding that it was not me with restless leg syndrome.

@ArkBallet 😞sorry too see 2024 has brought you a lot of grief but try and think of the positives it has brought you too . this year bad as it may of been now is resigned too history a fresh start so go into 2025 on a more cheery and optimistic note

Worst: pressure on nerves in my back made it too painful to walk or sit. I had to stand or lie down all day.
Best: decompression surgery completely removed the pain

The best was meeting someone who expressed a kind of care for me I've never seen before.

The worst was rediscovering deep scars.

Best - Played a lot of live music and got paid for it, had a great vacation too

Worst - Friend and bandmate unexpectedly passed in July.

Best: I won a trial where I literally took no discovery beforehand! That was fun, and a bit like the Old West!
Worst: I lost a good friend. 😢

Was unceremoniously retired in May. So kind of the same thing but the death of Ole was really tough.

The best was getting an interview with a very prestigious university.


Worst? I'm not sure anything too bad happened. I broke some toes in february. Maybe that's it 😅

Yeesh you have a stalker? Not fun to deal with. I know someone else who was dealing with that for a while.

I find it weird when I learn something new in a job I don't really like. I used to say it's all for the progress, but as soon as others seem to sabotage me, to hell with them.
