My nextdoor best friend since infancy moving away just before kindy.
My brother's best friend drowning and our parents not letting us join the rest of the neighborhood kids/our friends and his funeral in middle school.
My mom passing when I was in my early 20s and my narcissist dad more or less abandoning immediately after leaving me to an abusive boyfriend to "support" me when I had lost everything. While it wasn't a kid, I wasn't mature enough to be on my own yet and the psychological ramifications lasted until I was into my 40s before a good therapist helped tackle it.
