Dinner Question

You're having dinner, your mom spent a good hour or two making or preparing it, but in your head, you're a little tired of it. You don't necessarily hate it or anything, but it's not the most appealing thing you feel like that night. You finish and eat up most of it, and your mom asks, "Was it good?"

If I say yes, I am wrong for lying, since my real thoughts is that it was boring? Or should I just be content making my mom happy and not being such a greedy beggar?

I think that being honest is usually the best thing. And just because you get tired of it, doesn't mean that you don't appreciate it. You can be happy that she makes it but also say your honest opinion. I don't think it's one or the other only.
