Do you remember when KFC offered BBQ chicken? Was Regular, Crispy or BBQ.

@OlderSometimesWiser close relatives lived in a historic home on the old town square in an area that turned commercial, and back to back with a fried chicken fast food restaurant. Parking was tight and delivery trucks occasionally parked near relatives front door. Raw chicken was delivered stacked on hand carried huge trays, 50+ raw, uncovered chickens stacked on like 36” diameter trays, difficult for the one person delivery person to manage, so occasionally a few chickens fell off the tray to the curb or street, and were picked up, dusted off and returned to the tray. One day the delivery person lost his balance and the whole tray of raw chickens hit the dirt. It took a while but the delivery man managed to get them all back on the tray and complete his delivery.

Whenever I think about fast food chicken I also thing about the time the driver lost his balance and it all fell to the curb.

I think that's the only time I can remember eating KFC and I don't remember that option ..🤔

@Bexsy I wonder if I ate it and dont recall. My mother loved KFC. And so I may have.

Also..my mom's best friend loved churches (church's) chicken. I liked them too. They had corn on the cob and i liked the smell of the chicken! 🤣

@JaggedLittlePill the one closest to me closed. They had good chicken though. My mom liked Popeyes spicy chicken. I sure do love their red beans& rice
