@SnailTeeth It's a judgement call per game and studio, right.
A lot of DLC is absolutely what you say it is and just endless price gouging for cosmetic updates or a marginal amount of new content. This is particularly bad for triple A games. In this case it's a small studio putting out an enormous amount of new content for $30 bucks and is more like an old-school expansion than the incremental drops of content most DLC offer.
I can afford it and will get more hours out of it than I will in most new $90 games. Worth it.
