I Have a Question
Do you like art? Do you recognise art? Do you have a critical eye? Or you just dont care about it and it is ok to live without it for you?

I think we appreciate art but don't realize it most of the time.
You know, you see a print in a shop and you think that would look in my office, something I can look at every day and not get tired of it, something inspire me, keep grounded to my beliefs and who I am as a person. Who cares who drew or painted it, I just like it !
I go to art museums quite often, and the special exhibitions. I seem to be drawn to accurate technical drawings like an exhibition of the drawings of Venice at the turn of the century. I saw it the Ringling Museum in Sarasoat, Florida. And then, some were colorized, perhaps then, or maybe later. But I like the accuracy of paintings where the painter got the perspecitve right, and you feel you can just walk right to into the painting and join the people in the street and what they're doing.
I have a print by Andew Wyeth with the dog sleeping on the bed. If you haven't seen it, google it and see. How could you not like this painting. It draws you in, you feel it, the dog is not supposed to sleep on the bed, but he does anyway. It is a cold day, and his doggy bed doesn't have a pillow ! He is sleeping so peacfully and though he is not supposed to sleep on the bed, he is undisturbed and at peace because he knows his master is kind and will not scold or treat him harshly.
