Do you ever doubt the existence of others than you?

I'm aware of my thoughts, my experiences, my perceptions, but how can I truly know that others experience the same reality? How do I know they're not just projections of my consciousness?

The last time anyone else experienced your reality was probably when you were very young and with others of same age probably in your first educational setting.

But as your range of experiences grows it colours your perspective on everything.
I was once on a course and I met a serving police officer.
We were discussing similar issues with the lecturer when this police officer said in a somewhat throwaway comment
Yeah. Stick any three people on a street corner and tell them to look out for the guy in a red jacket and then stage an unrelated incident in front of them. Then try taking statements from the witnesses and afterwards compare them. You'll get three different perceptions of the same incident. This is what makes life difficult when folk have to appear in court as witnesses.
Because everyone interprets 'reality' in a different way
