This is not a gun violence question

It's just a gun question. I don't even own a glue gun.

I have a phone I open with my face and an iPad I open with my fingerprint. Has anybody invented an identity lock for guns?

Yep . It’s very expensive and by making it mandatory , that would restrict lower income Americans from owning a firearm, thereby creating an infringement upon their right to purchase a weapon. That is unconstitutional.

@TexChik keep in mind some folks here aren't American and do not have the same rights afforded to them, the right to defend yourself is not necessarily a thing around the rest of the world

@Tetsuya so what
TexChik · F
@Tetsuya I am well aware other governments restrict the rights of their citizens . Our constitution was created to restrict our government , not it’s citizens .
Tetsuya · 56-60, M
@MasterLee the constitutionality of the topic was never brought up or even if it should be required, you and TexChick are jumping the gun so to speak
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@Tetsuya what gun are you jumping
Tetsuya · 56-60, M
@MasterLee Ruger 10/22
TexChik · F
@Tetsuya Not at all, I am explaining why restrictive devices on guns are unconstitutional .
Tetsuya · 56-60, M
@TexChik Only if they become required, the devices themselves are not the unconstitutional part of it.
TexChik · F
@Tetsuya as I clearly stated. In my first reply . My husband and I own a lot of guns, none of which have any of that crap on them . They don’t sell .
Tetsuya · 56-60, M
@TexChik And after that point was made you went off on a tangent about constitutionality.
I made the point that some of the sensor used in the ring and sensor lockers were unreliable.
We are on the same page mostly.

@Tetsuya not a tangent Mr lib, I merely pointed out the law . You don’t like it? Too bad.
