Do Canadians really speak fast?

I was chatting with my Canadian neighbour he spoke so fast that I just smiled the whole time pretending I understood everything he said. Well I understood most, but yeah had to catch up sometimes.😂

I don't remember chatting on the phone with a SW member who's Canadian too.🤔

Never heard one but I do know that Indians speak super fast. I don't even know how their tongue can go that fast hahaha

When conversing with people that have a very strong accent, I'll tell them so they'll enunciate and slow their words more clearly.

@eyeno True when people have an accent, its sounds like they are talking quickly because you are not catching all the words.

I speak to one daily by voice and long periods, but I never felt that way 🤔

between all the eh's, loonies and toonies, and timmies, etc. most English speakers can't understand a damn thing they're saying no matter what speed they're talking... 🤔

and do we even need to go in to French Canadians... 🤦‍♂️

whom are about as bad at speaking coherent english as their truck drivers are at driving...🤔
