Did your parents prepare you for adulthood?
Did you talk about budgeting, bullies, racial discrimination, sex, taxes, etc? What subjects did your parents teach you and what subjects have you taught your children as they are growing up?

They didn't talk about all that, but they gave me a lot of responsibility. For example as a teenager, I was responsible for calculating the payroll, deductions, and amount to be paid for my father's company employees. Then I went to the bank and got the money to pay them. I'm sure he checked my math, but I don't remember making any errors. There were other things like that.
As far as sex goes, I was told never to do anything to hurt my girlfriend because she was the most important person in the world when she was with me.
