It might be an effort to "use" you in a revenge plot. And there might be a cheating but still very angry husband offstage somewhere who might make an entrance later.

@Greyjedi doesn't even need to be that, I was propositioned by a lesbian who was coming to the end of her marriage and wanted to make an act of no return and I was just wrong place wrong time. If we had both been single I wouldn't have said no but I wasn't and not only was she married but she already had her next wife lined up.
(This is what I surmise happened given how things panned out, an alternative was she was just a randy bisexual who wants sex with everybody and can't be faithful).
