Is it just a Hollywood thing? What are the rules?

If you look up movies starring Ellen Page they changed her name to Elliott in listings....."Juno starring Eliot Page about a teen girl who chooses adoption over aborting her baby."
Did they change all the Olympic medals Bruce Jenner won to Caitlyn Jenner?
When someone transitions is the person before the transition non existent?

I'd say it has less to do with transitioning and more to do with changing your name. Honestly some trans people are so much like the sex they want to be that you hardly notice when they do transition...doesn't seem like much of a difference with Ellen/Elliot. She was like a boy before lol.

What I do dislike though is how people are being coerced into accepting the trans narrative. And it's wrong how children are being exposed to this narrative by some people in some instances.

Nonetheless, when it comes to individual interactions with members of the trans community I don't think we should disrespect them or be unfriendly to them in any way. You could argue that they may be harming themselves in some ways, but they aren't harming you or anyone else...unless again they are trying to teach children about transitioning, which people are right to be upset about.
@SW-User trans community?
You're ears deep into their hind.
