Why do conservatives not understand that it's not a great idea to engage Russia directly?

It's a war between two NUCLEAR armed forces and one side has already stated he's willing to use it.

It's a fantasy, stop making the Ukraine war about American politics.

@Longpatrol It’s not about “not understanding” it’s about how to deal with a Russian bully. No country with means to get the job done wants to be the first country to have a crack at Putin.
