I'm also curious what people pay regarding rent, or mortgage. Wondering how people are doing home wise. If even buying a home is something people want to do.

I'm finally in the closing end of my first home, from what I can tell my rent of my apartment is just about the same as my mortgage.

I pay $1300 for a 2 bed 2 bath apartment. I'm tired of giving my money away. I want a house, but prices and competition is insane. People are paying 100k over asking prices because there are so many buyers.

@Nadie That's shitty. I felt the same, I wanted something of my own and went through the process. It's giving money away and the market competition is stupid.

@Nadie I was just up there.. Ashland and then Medford then to the tulip festival 4 hours north of there by Salem.. we could have met and sobbed all night together 😭
