Have you ever just ask a friend a question that you asked out of curiosity and think is an innocent question but the friend take offense to it??

I do it all the time but unintentionally is the problem with me or is it normal??? I ask a lot of questions because I'm just a curious person. I don't ask friends questions to be offensive but I seem to give the opposite impression why

I'd need an example to really know. I think it's normal to happen occasionally, but not regularly. Maybe you aren't sensitive enough, maybe you're oversensitive, idk.

@BlueVeins maybe I am insensitive idk an example is a friend of mine asked if I was at work; I replied by asking why (our convo was via text I didn't use all caps or anything I just typed why and he took offense to it?) I didn't mean to come off as offensive I was just curious about his curiosity but he took it the wrong way

@Prettybratbi1tch sounds like kinda a mix of his hypersensitivity and your insensitivity. Like if someone asks you a question & the answer isn't a secret at all, just asking 'why' is kinda shitty because it's a non-answer and it can sometimes feel like you're implying that they have questionable intent, if that makes sense. But it's not a big enough deal to warrant him getting legit mad.
