bijouxbroussard I’m not a trump supporter though? Not a White supremacist? So let’s stop being edgy.
Yes there are people in both parties acting like a bunch of idiots who have nothing better to do. This includes groups from Antifa, Proud Boys, BLM, White Supremacists, etc.
Both sides seem to promote violent rhetoric and don’t actually do anything beneficial. Both sides will gang up on members of the other side. They try to silence opposition. Dox one another.
A lot of this is fueled by misinformation or the inability to properly find a credible source or even know what a credible source is.
Everyday I see people flaming one another with bottom tier articles sloppily made by HuffPo, WashPo, CNN, FOX, Info Wars, PragerU, Vox,Vice, Daily Mail, the Wire, etc.
They never seem to look for a academic Journals, Data Tables, Government Domains, etc.
The worst are the people who look up what they’re talking about to share a “source” with you and clearly off the bat you can tell they didn’t read it.
The biggest issue with all of this though is that we are in an age of absolutism. People no longer think or even believe something. They “know” it.
When they are so concrete in their knowledge, if I disagree, they “know” I am wrong and must be silenced. That's where the shouting and name-calling begins.
Because the bottom line is, their knowledge is not built on reason, logic, or evidence, and they can't defend their position in a debate.
It’s under the guise that the louder, more abusive and obnoxious they become, the less sure they secretly are of their knowledge.
And to follow up you assumed I was a Trump Supporter and or White supremacist. However, you know nothing of me. Your assumptions make you the very thing you claim to hate in a sense.
My main point here is don’t use analogies from points in history that were so tragic and horrific. It disrespects all who have died. All because you have the “play the record backwards and you can hear the message.” Mentality.
