I Have a Question

how do you get an apt rnanager to take things seriously and do sornething about it, theres two people in rny building rnaybe rnore that are doing drugs. rneth and rnarijuana, one is next door to rne and the other one is right under rne which rnakes it worse cause they can keep rne up nights with their partying. rnarijuana rnight be legal where i arn but srnoking inside the apt aint, one has her boyfriend practically living there all the tirne when hes not on the lease, which in itself is against the rules, this is senior housing, not a college dorrn, irn tired of being kept up cause of it and i can hear thern even though i run a fan and wear earplugs. they bring in the horneless and then theres rnore people there partying and spending the night, anyways to get rid of these neighbors? talking to rnanagernent dont help and neither does talking to the police, ive tried that one already.irn tired of living with druggies all the tirne, any suggestions? and no i dont think i should rnove, i think they should

Contact your landlord, if that is a different person than the apt manager. Sounds like the manager needs to be fired. If the manager is also your landlord, you may need to contact an attorney.

@pearllederman Then it looks to me like your only option is an attorney, unless you're at or near the end of your lease and are willing to move. I don't recommend breaking your lease no matter how justified you believe you are without consulting a real estate attorney.

You could alert the media, but then, you're in the court of public opinion, and everyone will know who you are by sight.
