No, it wasn't your fault and the fact you got a physical reaction on what happened to you isn't strange neither, it hasn't anything to do with if you wanted it ore not. But I guess this fact did confuse you and you feel guilty about your physical reaction, just don't, IT WASN'T YOUR FAULT!
