I Have a Question

Both my kids tried to give up Trick or Treating at 13, for example, because it wasn't "cool" anymore. And their friends and them were at two different Halloween parties at 14 (several years apart) where the kids hastily made costumes to go out one last time because the missed it.

Don't think you're too cool to enjoy what you have.

I believe it's okay. After all, they'll only be teenagers once, and then soon after, they will probably have to get a job, and go to work, and there may not be as much time for fun as they had in their youth, and they won't have as many chances to be childish without as many serious consequences. I'd let them get it out of their system, before they end up as childish adults, or adults trying to "reclaim their youth".

Why not? Adults are quite often. Look at politicians, for example.

As long as you're behaving your age in the important regards of school, and chores, and 13-15 is still a child, after all, and you're not misbehaving, enjoy your youth as much as you can.

Yes you can and should enjoy being childish now and then... there are a lot of pressures on young people now and i think many forget that you should take time to do silly kid things as well.

Doesn't matter if you're childish or not, but remember you could always have fun no matter what age you are. :)

It's what teens do best, they're still growing up and learning

Umm, I mean technically you're still a child so give yourself some slack. Just remember not to hurt someone in the process and you'll be fine.
