why do they have ads on here and then charge us to get rid of them? i dont see why I should have to pay to get rid of them, i didnt put them there

But I think the real reason for SW's existence is to generate money.

As are all businesses. The only sites without ads are the ones that have no free memberships. These sites don't run on wishes and good intentions. It takes money to run any business.
