I Have a Question

How can i make some friends when i dont have any? ive lived in this place for almost 5 yrs and cant so much as have anyone to have a cup of coffee with, i hate it, none of the other places were like that, even in church i never have anyone to sit with, and yes i shower, they barely talk to me, if i switch churches i just get the same thing somewhere else, ive thought of asking them but i dont want to force them if they dont want to , thought of getting a pet except im out of work, any suggestions? its driving me nuts, ive thought of moving away

Pearl here are a few suggestions:

initiate talking to them.

smile when approaching them

try to help them.

look at them to see if they are happy, sad, frightens, and get close to talk about their feelings, weather, prices, kids, problems of society, and any other subject that interests them.

If not too of financial problem... Choose a few nicer ones and invite them to tea and cookies at your place.

Sometimes people see the hesitation in us, and that might put them off. I hope they don't see any hesitation in you.
