Listening when they are going through a hard time. Being there when they need you. Supporting their personal decisions if it's something that will make them happy. Giving advice when they need it. Asking about things that mean alot to them. Example: favorite family members, pets, friends, jobs.

Being mindful of the other person. Their boundaries, needs, desires, listen to them and be compassionate
