I've been bamboozled!
My wallet has been missing for several days, and it has eeeeeeeeeeeeeeverything in it. Ladies and gents, do not carry your social security card around in your wallet!

@SpaceJesus I'm aware of that... that's why I was wondering why you would like carrying it around with you when it's less risky for you to remember it and rattle it off the top of your head.
The social security system is still one highly back dated system in terms of security. To fly into America, I need a biometric passport... to steal a citizen's identity - I need their social security card... then there's so many complaining about illegal aliens.
Change up the system and make it harder for someone else to use random cards they find.

@HootyTheNightOwl I always figured I'd need it somewhere, and there have been a few places where I have. Next time it is going to get locked up
@SpaceJesus Are you able to get it replaced??? We did away with the cards that we used to get our NI Number printed on.

@HootyTheNightOwl It is going to be tricky. I need a photo ID, and my license is gone too. I need 2 proofs of ID for a photo ID. I'll figure something out
@SpaceJesus Hmm... Do you still have your passport??? I get that the card that you can use to fly within the US (driver's licence, is it???) might be gone, but if you have your international passport at home, that should help you...

@HootyTheNightOwl Nah I lost that in Ontario, I think 🤔 Somewhere between there and the states. But I have multiple envelopes with my name on them, maybe those will work
