It is time to relate to you Dolly's story.
I know some of you have seen me mentioned her troubled past before, but just how troubled was it? Well, I know for a fact that she was kept down in a basement for her first two years of life. The rest I have been finding out bit by bit. Her previous owners have obviously abused her, with switches or chased her with brooms. I mean, she will smell a broom if it's sitting stationary. But when human picks up broom, she scatters. She has developed such a bond with me that whenever I leave her, it rocks her world. Major separation anxiety. This is the first time she has known a loving family. As I type, this room smells like cat pee, the dried cat pee I just discovered under the bed. No doubt from one of the times I went to stay with my sister. Those days have to end, because her needs have to come before mine. I have never met a more gentle soul than what she has, and it is absolutely heartbreaking that someone would treat her the way she has been treated in the past. She has a vet appointment today, and that is going to stress her out further. I'm going to talk to them to see what I can do. Next step after that is Jackson Galaxy, who charges over $200 for a 90 minute skype session. But he is worth it. If he can help fix my baby, I'll pay his fee ten times over.
