Probably a YT vid can help you out.

Piece of cake... As someone said below, open the boot. And there should be a panel in the big lining next to the light assembly that opens... As a general statement, each globe can then be pulled out
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Pretty hard to change a front brake light since cars don`t have those. 😬 *runs*

@Lilymoon yeah I'm sure you can get yours through the trunk......
Lumberjack70 · 56-60, M
It depends on the vehicle but more on your confidence and skills. It should be able to be done at home. Good luck.
Lilymoon · F
@Lumberjack70 yeah I couldn't do it but maybe my hubby haha
Lumberjack70 · 56-60, M
@Lilymoon I agree. Let him have a shot at it!
JoeyFoxx · 56-60, M
Depends on the car.
If you bring it to a car parts store, someone there will be able to tell you if you can fix it yourself.

Nah you’ll just have to buy brake light fluid. You’ll need to check the brake light dipstick as well 😃
Lilymoon · F
@GBPackersFan Hey you're alive. 🤭
GBPackersFan · 41-45, M
Yes! I spent the weekend Christmas shopping 😏@Lilymoon
Lilymoon · F
@GBPackersFan yeah yeah yeah 🙄 😆
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
It used to be that changing out brake lights wasn't a big deal, but I don't know about more modern cars.
Jeffrey53 · 51-55, M
Just goto an auto store and get break light. They usually run about $2.50 some places are cheaper
NightsWatch · M
Hmmmm depends are you good with your hands? 😏
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
You can do either. If you are in the US valvoline instant oil change can change it out.
Mamapolo2016 · F
I've done it. Check out a YouTube DIY video for your make & model.

Most times it’s just a bulb, and you don’t need to take anything apart

You can replace them yourself if you know how. You should be able to access it after opening up the trunk.

@Stereoguy Especially if you dress nicely and ask them. The parts are usually reasonably priced.
