One word? SPOUSE

I'd rather just be "wife," because I always imagine spouse puts weight on me.

I've never used that term and neither has my "spouse" 😝

Partner for me, because that's what we are. Equal parts of dealing with life and whatnot. None better than the other. Simply equal parts.

We use husband and wife to refer to each other.
Wife it is.

I will just call you wife. Lol
Ah! I see the problem!

It's not the LABEL,
it's the TABLE!

"spouse" puts no more weight upon you than being called "bookish", "a babe", "talented", etc.

It's not the SPOUSE,
it's the GROUSE!

Eating too much GROUSE can def. add weight!

People often mis-state the adage or mis-represent it.
😉🤣🤣🤣

@SomeMichGuy The effects of overeating grouse can be mitigated by a healthy side of gorse.

It is a rather strange word.
Like - Here is my spawn, my incubator, my trophy

Sorry, it is what spouse conjures up for me.

@Gusman Haha, good ones. My first mental image is between a fat little mouse and a manatee, both of shapes into which I decline morphing.

How about “woman”. 😂
katydidnt · 61-69, F
@Disworld lol - that dog won't fly!
Disworld · F
@katydidnt no? “Where’s my dinner woman??”” Sounds kind of catchy! 🤪
katydidnt · 61-69, F
@Disworld So.... what's a "dinner woman?"
