Do you check the date on posts before commenting?

Hahaha I just commented on a post (it showed up on my newsfeed!) which was originally posted in 2021.
I didn’t check the date first, I just made my comment.
Now I feel a bit foolish haha

But it’s okay. It was about a sweet little brand new baby, and I’m sure she’s just as sweet now 😉

I also think posts should have an expiry date assigned to each post which makes them automatically become deleted from this website, otherwise very old posts that are sometimes 7 years old are exhumed from someone's exhaustive search for gold, then resurrected to make them appear newly minted today, then plagiarized for it's ownership as they attach their own nameplate as that post's original Author.
