Do you check the date on posts before commenting?

Hahaha I just commented on a post (it showed up on my newsfeed!) which was originally posted in 2021.
I didn’t check the date first, I just made my comment.
Now I feel a bit foolish haha

But it’s okay. It was about a sweet little brand new baby, and I’m sure she’s just as sweet now 😉

What I check for before I look at the date posted, is to see if the original poster has made an effort to respond to those who took the time to reply. If the OP hasn't responded or has responded only once to 200+ replies, I just skip the post altogether because it was created as a red herring (bullsh*t post).
