The general name for a large gathering of birds is "flock", but I didn't know of "murmuration" being used for any species other than starlings.

@Gusman I have seen a few large flocks of Budgies on the eastern end of the Nullarbor and smaller groups near Uluṟu-Kata Tjuṯa.
