@sometimeslonelytoo: I don't know what possessed me to do it. Adolescent curiosity I guess. It didn't get too hot, but it certainly held everything in - you couldn't forget for a single second what you had on, especially when you had to try and sit down! 😲
@sometimeslonelytoo: I was convinced that, everytime I heard someone laugh, they'd either spotted one of the bra straps showing through my pullover or the rings on my thigh where the girdle legs ended, and had figured out what I was wearing. Thank God I didn't have to go to gym class as I was revising for exams. I can just imagine standing in the changing rooms, opening my shirt and dropping my trousers to reveal my panty corselette.
Yes, well who knows what kind of attention that might have brought about, right?! I don't know how things have changed now, but changing rooms in my day, I was not comfortable with.
