As I'd imagine. Just want to be a little choosy about your body of water. Skinny dipping in muck or the ocean doesn't sound overly pleasant. At least not the after-effects.

Creepy crawlies of many sorts. It's a very living biosphere. Even just normally swimming in it can lead to some unpleasantness at times, seems an unnecessary extra roll of the dice to remove what little protection one has. Cold, too, in most cases. Just my personal experience and feelings on the matter though, one is of course free to do what they will.

@sissysummer: Depends how cold, water under 40 degrees Farenheit can kill you if you stay in too long.

@Raythedevil: when i went skinny dipping last it was winter me and some friends striped off and went in the water for about 20 min then we wrapped ourselfs in big towels and ran to the loos to get dressed when we got back to the car we had to scrape ice off the windscreen it was great fun but we were all pleased to have the heater on
