Yep. Even supports me, when she doesn’t quite understand.

She does a great job at it

I had three, one passed a couple of years ago and another about a month ago or so. The other is a bit of a distance but not in the condition to be there as before, so I just try to be there for her to make things easier on her.

@MellyMel22 I bet. I was at the bedside for the death of my 100 year old mother in law. We gave her megadoses of Ativan as well as morphine. It was a "beautiful" death.

@samueltyler2 Sorry you both had to see that, but it’s good you were there and able to make it easier on her.

@MellyMel22 she had a great life and we made her death not as bad as it could have been..

I've definitely experienced that in the past.. it's the most wonderful feeling..the best.. to be truly accepted whether happy or sad, glad or mad...
That person isn't around at the moment but he will remain forever in my heart and no matter how long before we speak again we will pick up again as if no time had passed

Thought so... but no. The 'no matter what' part didn't prove to be true.

That would have been my mum, but now. No.
However I wasn't looking for one! They'd need to be some sorta head shrink! And I'm good at understanding and supporting myself!

Aside from my mom who died in my 20s, I've never experienced a 'no matter what' kind of support from anyone - I don't think I ever will.
SW-User
Yes luckily - my sponsor definitely fits that bill
Yes. My flaws mean nothing to him!

No matter what?? That remains to be seen. It might be that way when things are rainbows and smootchy gootchy. Usually when we show our dark and ugly, things change
LucyFuhr · 56-60, F
The closest I've come are people who say they understand and support me.
