I dreamed about you last night. There you were, that tiny adorable ball of black fur, with those big, beautiful eyes. I couldn't stop scratching your head, watching as you twisted and turned with every move my hand made. Just like you always did.
And, as weird as it was, I could swear you were talking to me, having a conversation with me like a human. Funny thing was you sounded like a teenage girl. Fitting, since you always were a bit of a diva anyway. I woke up and just like that, you were gone. Again.
You were always too good be true. And all it took was one night for eighteen years to be taken away from me. You were always more than just a cat. You were my best friend, my constant companion through everything. My daughter. The center of my world. I still love you and miss you, and I'd still do [b][i]anything[/i][/b] to see you again.
