@Sevendays Yep. It's going to dip into the 20's with sleet and possibly snow in the Houston area.

@Sevendays The freeze should only last two days, and ERCOT claims there should be no power problems. Of course, ice on power lines and falling tree limbs will cause a few local outages. We have a whole house generator and will be fine.

@exexec perfect. I'm guessing you got that more for hurricanes and tropical storms than for cold weather but that's great.

@Sevendays Yes, but it was a life-saver during that terrible freeze a few years ago. We need it year round. The power was out for hours in a thunderstorm last month, for example.
