What’s your current most irrational fear?

@Ghostinthemachine not at all! I don’t usually either but sometimes bad dreams surface irrational fears in me.

@GypsyMiss I know what you mean. I’ll have a strange/bizarre/scary dream and if I can remember it, I will try to figure out what it means, if I am worried or stressed about something

Would you care to give an example of one of yours?

@Ghostinthemachine I recently dreamed that I was married to my ex-husband (ie: divorced and remarried). The very idea of being trapped in that marriage again terrifies me.

@GypsyMiss Do you have any idea what may have triggered it?

I will have dreams where I am back in school and I have an exam coming up and I haven’t been going to any classes, so I’m stressed about failing. I’ve had that one many times

@Ghostinthemachine I think when I am feeling out of control (ie reduced autonomy) is a trigger probably because I had zero control over any part of my life when I was married.

@GypsyMiss I think that’s what triggers mine as well. Funny how our subconscious still processes our fears and worries, even though we are no longer in that situation
