@pride49 divinity is a dnd like game, you pick a character you can group up to 4 and follow the story, but you can go various ways to do it!
diablo and path of exile are top down ARPG's its constant fighting, some story but not necessary to follow! its fighting to get gear, to kill stronger things until you kill gods and the like! (not sure abotu diablo, but in path of exile you can you make your own skills, like you take an arrow skill you put extra arrows, now you shoot 3, you add ricochet, no when it hits someone it goes to the closest next creature!. its very satisfying to shoot an arrow of ice and it splits of 6 times and you kill a whole group of enemies in one nice massive ice blast!)
korean rpg is great and fun but following the story, once you are at a certain level you can go all over the ocean and visit loads of islands, and all of them have their own story, this one is also top down though! (or at like an angle)
theres the new harry potter game, which i'm not sure about since i haven't played it but they have random events that can happen like those moving armours doing random stuff and such but you should watch reviews for that one
but if you want something very similar to skyrim than its: the witcher 3 wild hunt.
legend of zelda breath of the wild,
dragonage inquisition!
divinity is similar as in story wise. but play style is also random but in battle its turn based ( not pokemon turn base but like first action for fastest and such)
fallout 4 but its not fantasy.

@popmol I mean I played the main mission. But everyone else who plays online has the dlcs so they don't want to play with me. Also people's opinion you have to have a certain class to be support. When any class can have the restoration skill tree is annoying. Having to pay a hundred dollars a year to have good. Inventory space. It's ridiculous
