that I can be stubborn. Eyes turn toward me when the word is used in conversation. I like to think of myself as persistent or tenacious.

@cherokeepatti I have witnessed your tenacity. :) I like it.

@SW-User That’s what happens when there are narcissists in your family, early on you have to learn to set boundaries and become stubborn about enforcing them. So many people want to cross your boundaries…seems unbelievable at the amount when I think back on it.

@cherokeepatti You're right. It must have been a journey though to get where you are, this strength in you.

@SW-User It seems very prevalent in society too. I hear stories from people I know that bring up memories. My advice is to get the hell away from them before they can do damage, set boundaries and enforce them.

@cherokeepatti They know and can sense the kind of people to target, those people usually find it hard to escape fast. Though there is a lot more awareness of it now and hopefully that is doing some good.

@SW-User yes you can find all sorts of information now. You Tube has hundreds of videos with psychologists, lawyers and others speaking about all kinds of subjects in regard to narcissists. The narcissist seems to target empathetic people and that’s the reason people get entangled with them. And oh the horror stories.
