Is your Ideal vacation at an all inclusive resort or sightseeing and doing your own thing?

I'd say it's more of just doing my thing. Really miss the cabin in the woods, the quiet and peace and just having a fire pit.... lots of trails and things to see without getting in a vehicle. Lots more to see if I chose to take a drive.
Now, my vacation is my back yard where I have a lot of what I miss about the cabin. :)

@Stereoguy I can't afford to rent for a week. Family went for a weekend once a year. That stopped about three or four years ago. It's why I made my backyard more to the way I have it now.

@Stereoguy I'm okay with it. I have the stars, firepit, gardens with flowers and veggies, finally my greenhouse and I can just sit and relax. :)

I spend time just staring at the stars, looking at the moon and just quietly thinking. Sometimes, I take my portable CD player and headphones with me. And a fire going, sometimes cooking a meal on the firepit, makes me happy. :)
