Is your Ideal vacation at an all inclusive resort or sightseeing and doing your own thing?

Doing my own thing. Resorts are overpriced and overrated. Also you don't get to explore the area you are at

@empanadas technically you can explore but you have to hire someone from the resort to take you into town and on their time. So yeah not as ideal.
