You know, I'm like a week in and it's not so bad.

I'm not liking it since it means I'm getting old and closer to being elderly

Our whole lives people raise us, do their best, and when they make mistakes they use the authority that comes with autonomy to rationalize their failures away, often onto their children; the result is children who attribute all failings of their youth to their own imagined inadequacies.

Now, you are at an age where the authority of autonomy is yours to claim, and so too is the power of rationalization.

Don't be afraid, and don't use it how they used it. Keep the part where you metabolize your failures in a way that keeps you going but lose the part about shifting them to someone weaker than you.

Adulting is only pretending to be tough while you cry and scream inside 14/7

Some parts are scary and a drag but its mostly fun ...being in control of your life and making decisions for yourself.

Here's the thing, you never really grow up, you just get older and start to appreciate furniture more 🤔

I despise it.

Time to build a blanket fort in front of the TV so I can play my SNES and eat pizza rolls in peace.
