@Konicha605 late morning here, waiting for my second pot of coffee to brew. wife is off the shop with a friend. sitting around with the dog and a cat.

@GerOttman well, really nice. i m in my room studying and wasting time lol

@Konicha605 what do you study? For high school or college?

@GerOttman college. i study psychology

@Konicha605 good subject, never studied it formally but I use it often. didn't go to college myself. 12 years of catholic school and I was done, hair still goes up on the back of my neck when I go into a school... joined the military after graduation.

@GerOttman wow i see. well those were other times i guess.

@Konicha605 that is very true, some things have have changed. others not so much. I hope you enjoy your classes. do you do well in them?

@GerOttman well, it's my first year and i m doing quite good. it'll be quite a long path tho

@Konicha605 it can seem that way standing at your end of the path. looking back from mine, too short and too fast. funny how that works!

You live at home or on your own?

@GerOttman rn with my parents because college is online because of covid. next year i ll move

@GerOttman in a four floors house. i live in a town near to a small city where i used to spend the most of my time: school, ecc. also the most of my family lives there. it's like really near, 15 mins by car.

@Konicha605 nice, I'm in a small town near Philly. The house is a twin, split down the middle with our new neighbor. They just moved in last month.

@GerOttman i ve been two weeks in nyc and then just for a day we went from nyc to philly. we did see the most touristy things tbh. we didn't have time to visit the rest

@Konicha605 That usually starts and ends with the Rocky statue at the art museum steps and maybe a cheesesteak from Pat's. I drove Lyft in the Philly area for almost three years before the pandemic hit. I try to keep a mental list of a few off the path attractions for out of towners on a first visit.

@GerOttman ya well, it was the rocky statue and liberty bell. the rest was walking around the city lol
