Showing your jealousy is not always a turnoff. One time at Karaoke, a neighbor saw me and we started talking. My BF came over and in a strong voice said, "I think that's enough. Time to move on."
This action surprised me. For my guy to react like this guy was hitting on me?
Still I learned his possessiveness was showing me I was HIS. Never has anyone acted possessive in my presence.
Now if I speak to a neighbor or friend, it has to be a female. My only thought might be, because I was laughing, he thought I was flirting? May never know.

could be many reasons. May be your bf is insecure. Or he is super suspicious. If he has faith in you he would not care whom you are talking to.
