Update! It’s now 3:30 and I’ve made $200 to go towards what I’m wanting

I made more crafts to sell to friends and family and have to make 1 sourdough loaf and 2 dozen cookies tonight for tomorrow that’ll bring $60 more for the baked goods alone (they are already claimed by friends)

Can’t wait to show cowboy what I’ve done today to go towards what I’m wanting ☺ he’s going to be so proud of me

This is why I’m thankful to have hobbies that can make money because I’m just doing what I like to do and putting it towards something that I want so badly without cowboy having to work harder or me having to wait as long

@soulrespite i definitely see how this looks and i do want to clarify he doesn’t expect me to work for it and he will buy it eventually the reason he isn’t right now is because what I'm wanting is $600 not including tax and so at the moment we can’t do that since it isn’t a necessity but he’s saving for it I just decided on my own to try to help so that he doesn’t have to work as hard if that makes sense

Cookies $24/dozen
Sourdough $15
So it adds up for just over $60

If it was a special sourdough such as jalapeño cheddar or something like that it would be $20

As far as crafts it really depends on what it is whether it’s stuffed crochet animals, set of crochet coasters or crochet pot holders etc. I’m thankful for my friends and family who don’t have any problems with how I price things given that all baked goods are completely from scratch and crafts take time

@MommaBear I think I could teach you in 3 weeks , Sourdough $15 could go down to 5 as long as you expend selling . Otherwise buying ready made , you pay the cost . I spend some years in a bakery.

@Khenpal1 I make everything from scratch myself. I don’t spend $15 to make it that’s what I charge for a loaf of plain sourdough
